There’s lots to love about Grand Bahama Island – sun, sand, surf – but how about art? Thanks to the Grand Bahama Artists Association, there’s plenty of that, too. Don’t miss the organization’s annual Thanksgiving Art Exhibition featuring an eclectic collection of original works by some of our favorite local and international artists. From colorful abstracts and whimsical wood sculptures to sequined tapestries, paper collages to paintings, this uber-talented band of 30 or so local artists captures the beauty of Grand Bahama and gives us one more reason to love living here. Their works are on display through November 29 at the Glory Banks Gallery at the Rand Memorial Nature Center.
