Gateway cities include: Atlanta, Charlotte, Chicago, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, London, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, and Toronto. Airline availability varies according to season. As well, seasonal charters are available from many including several markets from Canada on Sunwing, U.S. and other international cities.
Two cruise lines offer scheduled trips to and from Grand Bahama Island: Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line sailing round-trip from Palm Beach, Florida and Balearia Bahamas Express sailing round-trip from Port Everglades, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The beautiful Bahamas Celebration, named "An Official Cruise Line of Grand Bahama Island" by the Ministry of Tourism, departs West Palm Beach for Grand Bahama Island cruises every other day. Balearia Bahamas Express sails round-trip to Grand Bahama Island from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays.
