Wonderful Hotel, Excellent Beach, Enjoyable Stay
I traveled to Freeport, Grand Bahama Island for my fraternity’s regional conference meeting. The Grand Lucayan was the host hotel. Upon arrival, I found the staff to be very capable of handling the crush of conference attendees at check-in which went very smooth. The hotel rooms were very clean and spacious. Even after dealing with a hurricane, the property was well taken care of. There is a restaurant and a cafe on premises. I found the restaurant to be accented very well. I was not a big fan of the dinner buffet. The restaurant did have a very good breakfast. There are very good amenities on the property. You have a lap pool as well as a swimming pool. The hotel also has a beautiful beach. About a mile from the hotel is the market bazaar. It has assorted shops and restaurants. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Grand Lucayan. I do hope to return in the future.
The Grand Lucayan provided our attendees with an exceptional experience, excelling in customer service and attentiveness. The facility was a gorgeous backdrop offering both a retreat-like setting while providing exemplary accommodations and activities. We enjoyed The Grand Lucayan Resort so much, that our organization has booked there for a second year and expect another successful event that is sure to once again delight our attendees!

Terrific Experience planning our Convention at Grand Lucayan” I am the meeting planner for an international association that is comprised of manufacturers, engineers and installers. We brought our association there (approx. 150 individuals overall including guests and exhibitors and everyone) for our 60th anniversary of the association. I have 10+ yrs experience and have a CMP.
